Go Blog Yourself

I'm a nice guy I promise

LOL. Use it or lose it, Phil.

So I thought about blogs today.  After talking to Jordan, and perusing the blogs that I follow here on tumblr - which are few, I should add - I decided to maybe try and get this thing going for myself.  It was great writing about my trip to Africa, and I guess since I am a biological sciences/developmental biology major and don’t get to write much I should probably start writing something or else I’ll totally lose my mojo.

Anyway, this weekend was probably the fastest three-day weekend I have ever encountered.  Friday I met one of Natalie’s friends from her trip to Europe.  Max, if you are reading this, you are by far one of the coolest kids I know.  I met Max after we picked him up from a party at Scripps.  Who knew those oceanographers could throw such mean parties?  We drove out towards downtown SD, met up with Max’s friend MiMi, and the four of us took on old town San Diego for a few hours.  We ended up stopping at what Natalie’ said was the best mexican food in the area, and I ordered a margarita (yes, Cynthia, be proud).  The food was delicious, and Max’s stories were hilarious.  But now that I’ve got a taste of the cool people Natalie got to meet, I really can’t wait to meet the others - yes, you Anna and Adam.  But you guys will never read this LOL.

Anyway, Saturday was ICCA.  And we had fun, even though we bombed it.  But we’ll do better next time.  I want to thank all of my friends who came out and shelled out 20 bucks and 4 hours of their time to see us perform - it really met a lot to me, you have no idea.  It was already scary enough performing in that giant auditorium, but you guys made it easier on me, so thank you.  But since it was such a depressing outcome on a wonderful night, I think I’ll stop talking about it.

Valentine’s day. What a great day with Natalie.  The food at The Cottage (best brunch in La Jolla, hands down) was legen - wait for it - dary, and the rest of the day was filled with baking, jokes, and two movies (one good and bad).  Then we ate some california burritos from rigobertos.  So much better than people watching you eat at a fancy restaurant where you overpay for mediocre food.

And Monday was Peter’s birthday, so we all went to barona and lost money.  Except natalie.  She won 5 bucks.  And we ate korean bbq.  yum.

Each day got progressively shorter.  Excellent. You see how bad I am at this blogging thing? Stop reading.

Just Kidding.
