the last days
It seriously feels like i’ve only been here about a week….and 3 weeks is almost over. Time really flies over here. I feel like everyday is jampacked with another adventure…even the public transporattion feels like it, since i meet so many new and different people. Even today i went to Tengeru market and met a guy i hadn’t seen in a week that i had met on the Dala Dala back from MEru Hospital. He was a really nice guy he offered me some corn when we were on the bus last time around. sO i went to take a look at his shop and bought something to help him out. Things are really getting tight here though…i feel like this presentation is gonna be good. but im just worried about not getting the grant. crossing my fingers. yesterday we went to visit an environmental group called “KUMO” here in arusha, on the slopes of Mt. Meru. We got to get some home cooked meals and then watched as they showed us there permaculture project, bees, coffee, and cows. We then proceeded to dance with them. HAHA yes i did dance, and there is picture proof. they seemed to enjoy my moves :) Tomorrow is the final big new thing we’ll be doing. I’m heading to the snake park with everyone, to get a lookat some of the most dangerous snaskes here in Africa (i.e. mambas). Then i’ll prolly ride a camel. AWESOME. Be back in town on Sunday. School on Monday. Fun…BYE!
